The effect of alternating electric field (AEF) on the corrosion of metal is very complex, and the mechanism is very unclear so far.So it is very important to systematically investigate the effect of AEF on the corrosion behaviour of metal.Copper is an important electronic material and widely used in electronics industries, which is prone to atmospheric corrosion.In the present work, the effect of AEF on the atmospheric corrosion behaviour of copper film in printed circuit board (PCB-Cu) was investigated using home-made thin layer electrochemical cell by potentiodynamic polarization and scanning electron microscopy (SEM).The test temperature and relative humidity was 65 ℃ and 95%.
