Effects of chemical fertilizer on soil fertility and the yield,quality in Flowering Chinese Cabbage (Brassica campestris L.ssp.chinensis var.utilis Tsen et Lee) were studied in different soil,in which cultivated for 7,6,4,3 years.With application times of chemical fertilizer increased,organic matter concentration and pH declined and EC increased gradually in the soil,the concentrations of nitrogen,phosphorus,available nitrogen,available phosphorus and available potassium increased in soil,while the concentrations of exchangeable calcium,exchangeable magnesium,sulfur and available sulfur decreased.The yield of flower stalk and concentrations of chlorophyll a,b,total chlorophyll and carotenoid in leaf decreased significantly,nitrate concentration of flower stalk increased continuously in flowering Chinese cabbage.
