  Porous Polyurethane Mixture (PPM) is a new road paving material.The new permeable pavement paved by PPM can be used for city sidewalks,plazas,parks,scenic walk and neighborhood sidewalks which can beautify the environment,alleviate the urban heat island effect,reduce the urban waterlogging and so on.Based on the analysis of forming mechanism and the failure characteristics of PPMs strength,this paper researched the3~5mm,4~6mm and 5~10mm of single particle size of PPMs material composition design and road performance,and then introduces some implementation cases.The results showed that in the normal construction temperature,the compressive strength of PPM is 8~10MPa;the flexural strength is 4~6MPa;it has a good waterproof performance,resistance to permanent deformation,water & heat aging resistance,fatigue resistance,corrosion resistance performance,but its frost resistance is a bit poor;its paving thickness is 2~4cm;practical research and implementation results show that it has broad application prospects.
