Background: Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection may result in a spectrum of diseases in recipients of allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT), including fever, post-transplant lymphoproliferative diseases (PTLD) and endorgan diseases (pneumonia, encephalitis/myelitis, hepatitis and so on).Now PTLD has been widely studied; however, there are only scattered reports about EBV-associated diseases other than PTLD.Aims: To investigate the incidence, clinical characteristics and prognosis of the spectrum of EBV-associated diseases.Methods: A total of 263 recipients undergoing allo-HSCT were enrolled.
