　　This paper further clarifies the position of professional English courses and explores professional Englishs teaching contents, teaching methods and teachers training of Electrical Engineering and Automation.The position and exploration are based on the demand for English in engineering education, taking account of characteristics of the less professional English class hours and combining basic English and professional English at the same time.The paper covers the foundation and focus of Electrical Engineering and Automation, 14-unit teaching, and sums up the four-step classroom teaching which includes the review, read me, teaching and summary.It proposes usual time, written, oral comprehensive examination, and gives some recommendations to enhance professional English teacher training.It is the only way to turn professional English lessons into students English listening; speaking, reading and writing practice in class and achieve the expected goal of English teaching.
