The research on the hydrodynamic instabilities has been motivated by the inertial confinement fusion and astrophysics.We have conducted the ablative Rayleigh-Taylor instability experiments which used shaped laser pulse shapes in Shenguang Ⅲ prototype laser facility,the experimental results show that the high-foot drive is more stable than the low-foot drive.
