20多年来一直使用丙烷、甲烷低压渗碳,但当零件形状复杂或工件堆积密集时,很难做到均匀渗碳,而且也容易产生碳黑和焦油,得不到光亮表面。使用乙炔低压渗碳完全克服了上述缺点,工件密集装载甚至大批量装炉渗碳,得到均匀渗碳层已不成问题,对那些形状复杂零件或细长的内孔、盲孔渗碳已成为可能,而且工件表面很少有碳黑和焦油产生,能得到光亮表面。
