本文对生态学、环境问题和生态文明建设的定义进行了阐述。从人口增长对环境造成的压力进行分析，介绍目前世界主要面临的粮食问题、能源问题、资源问题和环境污染问题，强调生态文明建设的重要性和紧迫性，并提出生态文明建设的实施对策。倡导必须通过生态文明建设建立一个资源节约型、环境友好型的社会。
