Proton radioactivity from spherical proton emitters is fully investigated in theframework of the relativistic mean field (RMF) theory with the effective interaction ofDD-MEδ in the BCS approximation.The potential barriers which prevent theemission of protons are constructed with the similarity renormalization group (SRG)method for the first time where the spin-orbit coupling potential along with othercorrections are included automatically,and the WKB approach is employed tocalculate the penetrability.
