Recently endoscopic equipment has been improved remarkably.In this conference, I would like to talk about 2 kind of new endoscopic techniques developed by Fujifilm Company.One is Blue laser Imaging (BLI) BLI has 3kind of modes by changing the ratio of white light and narrow band light which are called white light, BLI-bright, and BLI.White light is similar to the conventional white light system.BLI-bright produces brighter image of distant view by highlighting superficial information.BLI is highlighting more superficial information by shorter wavelengths.This mode is mainly used as magnified endoscopy.Using BLI technique, we can easily find early gastrointestinal (GI) cancers (i.e.esophageal cancer, gastric cancer, etc.).Therefore, BLI was very useful to diagnose GI cancers compared with conventional Imaged Enhanced Endoscopy.
