Hydrogen extraction from liquid lithium-lead alloy by gas-liquid exchange method

　　The liquid lithium-lead alloy bubbler(LLLB) is a very important composition in the tritium unit of Chinese Dual-Functional Lithium Lead Test Blanket Module(DFLL-TBM).In order to complete the design of LLLB, the technology of tritium extraction from lithium-lead alloy has been simulated, hydrogen extraction from lithium-lead alloy by gas-liquid exchange method being used to simulate tritium on the base of theoretical calculations and some experiments for the interaction of hydrogen isotope with lithium-lead alloy.The results show that the key of LLLB is gas-liquid exchange packed column.The higher than lithium-lead melting temperature, the greater the bubble surface area, and a marked increase in intensity of flow circulation for liquid lithium-lead with the increase of helium flow rate, the cumulative hydrogen extraction efficiency increases too, up to about 35.5%.Finally, a future study, which should allow us to complete the deuterium extraction experiments on the LLLB is presented.Fig.1 is our experimental device named LLLB.
