"Dai-Bai-Jie" is a traditional Dai nationality herbal medicine widely used by the Dai people living in Laos, Burma and Yunnan province of China, for the purposes of detoxification, decreasing swelling and alleviating pain etc, and this herbal medicine is originated from the roots of Marsdenia tenacissima (Roxb.) Moon (family Asclepiadaceae) which is a perennial climber extensively distributed in Yunnan province of China [1].
