In this article,we develop a new acquisition method for inter-satellite signal according to the characteristics of relative motion between satellites.Through analysis of the relative motion between two satellites,the feasibility analysis is performed.Then we define the search ranges of Doppler shift and delay of PRN code with the assistance of prior information.The new approach is proposed based on FFT-based acquisition algorithm.We simulate and analysis of the new method with the IGS precise ephemeris.The results show that the computation of the new method is greatly reduced,compared with the conventional algorithm.And its more suitable for inter-satellite signal acquisition.
