Background:Alpha-Fetal Protein (AFP) is a major plasma protein produced by the yolk sac and the liver during fetal development,and represents the most abundant plasma protein (40-4000 μg/ml) in the fetus.As a predictor of hepatocellular carcinoma or germ cell tumors,higher AFP level has been recognized to connect with cancer cells malignant differentiation and poor prognosis.Historically,Green tea has been associated with health benefits against multiple diseases including cancer as well as mediating immune system function.
