In this study,mortal hollow circular blocks for solar thermal energy storage using Green Sand as a fine aggregate are fabricated.Fluidity test of fresh mortar and heat storage and heat radiation tests of the mortal hollow circular blocks which have three different kinds of volume fraction of Green Sand have been conducted to examine an effect of Green Sand on both fluidity of fresh mortar and amount of heat storage in the mortal blocks.It is found that fluidity of fresh mortar is small and amount of heat storage in the block is large,as volume fraction of Green Sand in the mortar is large.
