Polymer-coordinated inorganic nanoporous composites exhibit many interesting characteristics such as changeable colloidal phenomena, adjustable microstructure, high reactivity, improved mechanical properties and high potential to further prepare the nanoporous carbides. However, the acoustical properties of the composites were rarely paid attention before. In this paper, polyacrylic acid (PAA)/Cu2(OH)3Cl hybrid networks were prepared via a PAA-modified epoxide additional method (called dispersed inorganic sol-gel, DIS method) and subsequent ambient dying process.
