A series of novel halogenated 1-benzyl-1-ethyl-3-phenylthiourea derivatives were synthesized by reacting isothiocyanatobenzene and some halogenated N-benzylethanamine.All these compounds have been characterized by elemental analysis, 1H-NMR spectrum and ESI-MS spectrum, two of which have been structural characterized by X-ray single crystal determination (Fig.1).
