  Acute lung injury (ALI) is damage of acute lung function and morphologica induced by oxygen free radical and prostaglandins.Oxidative stress often leads to release of many kinds of cytokine, and it is related to the pathogenesis of ALI.Vasoactive intestinal peptide (VIP) is the important neuropeptide in lungs, we observe VIP whether regulate oxidative stress of ALI.Objective: To investigate effect of VIP on oxidative stress in ALI.Methods: To build the pGC-FU-VIP lentiviral, and detect the activity of LDH and SOD and the content of MDA.Results: (1) The green fluorescent intensity is positively correlated with lentiviral titers.(2) VIP enhanced the SOD activity, but weakened LDH activity and reduced MDA content.Conclusion: VIP can reduce oxidative stress of mice lungs in ALI, thus inhibiting the neutrophil respiratory burst and finally in favour of lung tissue damage repair.
