The heavy nanoparticle deposition in the liver as a consequence of biomedical applications of nanomaterials and the human exposure to nanoparticles from environment may perturb enzymatic functions of CYP enzymes and cause undesirable perturbations to metabolic functions.In this investigation,we demonstrate that f-MWCNTs perturb enzymatic activity of CYP3A4 by binding to the protein and alter its conformation.
