Green is the symbol of life,which is important for humans life.Traditional bright green ceramic pigments similar to jadites is rare.In the field of ceramic industry,Ca-Cr-Si based victoria green pigments with the hue of yellow and Co-(Zn)-(Al)-Cr based peacock green with the hue of blue were commonly used.In our study,sodium silicate,chromium oxide,chromic nitrate,lithium carbonate and quartz were used as the main raw materials to prepare(Na0.4Li0.6)CrSi2O6 emerald green pigments by solid state reaction.
