Noble metal nanoparticles (such as Au, Ag, Pt and Pd) have received increasing interest primarily due to their excellent properties and applications in optics,catalysis, electronics, sensing, biomedicine and information storage.Significantly, noble metal nanoparticles have been proved to possess ultrafast nonlinear optical response times,making it have a very important application in optical communication, all-optical switches, and nonlinear optics.
