Caddisfly (hesperophylax occidentalis) can spin and make stones in steam, sand and other branches into the nest.We cloned the fibroin homologous gene hpgs and made it controlled by the Fib-H promoter, and then integrated them in piggyback transposon.Ultimately we constructed the transgenic silkworm strains TBHL via transgenic technology.We analysed the insertion site via RT-PCR technology, and finally came to a conclusion: no genetic mutations are caused by insertions.
