Layered double hydroxides (LDHs), whose structure can be generally expressed as [MⅡ1-xMⅢx(oH)2](An-)x/n·mH2O (MⅡ and MⅢ are divalent and trivalent metals respectively; An-a n-valent anion), are one type of important inorganic layered materials which represent a large versatility in terms of their chemical composition and the ability to build up 2D-organized structures.1 LDHs-based functional materials have attracted considerable attention in the fields of catalysis, separation, biology, drugs and functional additives.
