  A fully integrated microfluidic chip provided a cost-effective solution to direct sample-to-answer genetic analysis and thus has a potential impact in the fields of point-of-care genetic analysis, environmental testing, and biological warfare agent detection.Here we presented a microfluidic chip which integrated sample preparation, blood lysis, DNA extraction and purification in a real-time PCR and melting analysis system for performing DNA analysis of complex biological sample solutions.Economical 3D printers have been used to fabricate a mold against the microfluidic chip substrate surface.
