Anion exchange membrane fuel cells(AEMFCs)cancombine the advantages of proton exchange membrane fuelcells(PEMFCs)and traditional alkaline fuel cells(AFCs)and solve the problems ofthem.Akeychallenge for AEMs in the practical application in AEMFCs ismeeting the comprehensive requirements of high hydroxideanion conductivity,robust mechanical properties and goodchemical stability in alkaline environment.Much effort hasbeen spent in developing better AEM materials because state-of-the-art AEMs cannot satisfy the requirements of AEMFCs.
