Modem slender structures are subjected to high stress ranges when subjected to live load,hence higher vulnerability to fatigue failure can be assumed.Structures like bridges and crane tracks are exposed to cyclic loading and are often located in an aggressive enviroument.These two effects were studied in many researches,e.g.Foglar (2010) and Huang et al.(2005).However,the interaction of these two adverse effects has not yet been properly quantified.For evaluation of the interaction of mentioned phenomena the long-term experimental program was proposed.
