　　A photo-thermal model of matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization (MALDI) mass spectrometry was developed.Based on experimental observations,the primary ions are assumed to be produced by proton disproportionation reaction on the substrate,The analyte is protonated via the proton transfer reaction,The heat generated by a laser not only promotes chemical reactions,but also desorbs both neutral molecules and ions.
