　　As a soil-borne phytopathogen, Verticillium dahliae Kleb (V.dahliae) causes verticillium wilt diseases by infection through plant roots.Little is known about the process of infection and colonization.Here, we report the first application of the hydroponic-culture Arabidopsis thaliana for exploration of the infection progress of V.dahliae.Arabidopsis seedlings cultured in liquid medium were inoculated with conidial suspension of a green fluorescent protein (GFP)-expressing isolate of V.dahliae (V 592).
