Large aperture broadband gold-coated gratings are the key components in high-power laser systems.Compared with other gratings,gold-coatedgratings have the advantages of simple structure and low cost etc.More importantly,the gratings have gain lots of attention in the fields of the short-pulse(shorter than 100fs),large-scale,high-power laser system because of high diffraction efficiency within a broadband range (usually 200 nm or more).
