An advanced process is not enough but super advanced processes are some case required.The super advanced includes "mufti feed nitrification-dinitrofication process followed with ozonation andactivated carbon adsorption". While the super advanced processes, of course, improve effluent qualitythe atmosphere would be polluted with green house effect gas emitted from the super advanced processes because they consume a large amount of electric power and chemicals. This means that water pollution control create new air pollution. The authors fmd that the super advanced process emit Carbondioxide 2.4 times as much as an advanced process.
