Metabolically healthy obese (MHO) was defined as the state of being obese without abnormal metabolic disease.Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD), which is quite common in MHO, was considered to be one of components of metabolic syndrome (MS).Whats the difference between MHO individuals with and without NAFLD in clinical features and inflammation markers? We evaluated 5147 individuals for routine health examination in Peoples Hospital of Hunan Province from April 2006 to January 2014, 478 individuals were MHO.MHO were defined as obese (BMI≧25kg/m2) and normal blood glucose, blood pressure and normal lipid profile.
