Objective To explore the training strategies of blood transfusion trades in different levels of hospitals and different posts in different dimensions in order to improve the blood transfusion and promote the development of blood transfusion in view of the needs of knowledge and skills of practitioners in blood units. Methods Empirical methods were used to investigate the knowledge and skill needs of blood transfusion related practitioners in each unit of blood and to formulate training strategies targeted at management and clinical blood donors respectively
