Over the past few decades, the exploitation of branched PEG modified biocompatible and biodegradable polymers has received considerable attention. These polymers containing both hydrophobic and hydrophilic segments are of particular interest for biomedical applications, such as drug delivery. In this study, new amphiphilic block copolymers, 4-arm poly(ethylene glycol)-block-tocopheryl polyethylene glycol succinate (4-arm-PEG-C-C-TPGS、 4-arm-PEG-S-S-TPGS) with different molecular weight of 4-arm-PEG (5K、 10K、 20K) were synthesized to as potential paclitaxel (PTX) carriers.
