While a number of transition metals have been explored in the direct coupling of unactivated aryl C-H bonds with olefins this capacity,Rh(Ⅲ) has emerged as an effective catalyst for the olefination of aryl C-H bonds under mild reaction conditions.1,2 Many research groups have sought to improve the utility of Rh(Ⅲ)-catalyzed aryl C-H olefinations by increasing reactivity of the catalytic systems and improving site selectivity of the transformation.
