The purpose of this study was to investigate the camping experience,preferences,and destination images of Taiwanese,including their demographic characteristics,what factors inspire them to go camping,their preferences in choosing a camping destination,and what campsite facilities and features effect their decision to go camping.Data for this study was collected from Taiwanese recreation and sports majors in two different locations using a structured survey questionnaire. A series of t-tests and one-way ANOVAs were used to analyze the responses.Significant differences are reported in the results sections and their marketing implications are discussed in detail in the discussion section.
