Objective:To observe the effect and safety of one-stage single balloon multiple expansions percutaneous kyphoplasty(PKP) with in treatment of osteoporotic vertebral compressive fractures and spinal tumor.Method:18case(45vertebrae) were treated with one-stage single balloon multiple expansions PKP.1 l case(29vertebrae) were osteoporotic vertebral compressive fractures,2case(4vertebrae) were spinal metastatic tumor and others were spinal multiple myeloma.Male 5 cases,female 13cases.Age rangs 44~80 years old,with average of 68.77years.The vital signs were record during operation.Patients pain relief,functional activities recovery and the restoration of vertebral height were evaluated after operation.All these patients were follow by telephone or clinic consults after discharged.
