Percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with stent placement is a standard treatment for coronary artery disease (CAD).Instent restenosis after PCI remains a challenging clinical problem.In China, Chinese herbal medicines (CHMs) are widely used for preventing restenosis.This paper systematically reviewed the literature on the effectiveness and safety of CHMs in preventing restenosis after PCI in patients with CAD.
