  Objective: Caries is a common oral disease and it is also one of the three infectious diseases which are mainly controled by WHO.It has a great influence on the oral healthy and living quality of the human being.Currently,restorative treatment is the main remedy for dental caries.But as the raise of the consciousness of the oral health, more researchers are looking at the Minimal Intervention Dentistry(MID).MID principles advocate remineralization of the earl caries in which cavities have not formed.The main composition of human enamel is hydroxyapatite(HAP,Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2).The enamel surface is permeable,which allows the exchange of inorganic ions such as Ca2+ and PO4 3-between the tooth and oral environment.This feature provides the possibility for remineralization.
