An e-waste recycling area in Taizhou,Zhejiang province, was taken as the research area. The content of inhalable particulate(PM10)in the air was researched by using active particle sampler. The concentration of Cd,Cu in the PM10 was analyzed.Carcinogenic and No-carcinogenic risk of the contaminants in the PM10 was evaluated by using the human health assessment model. The sensitivity of the parameters to the risk assessment results was analyzed.Investigating and assessing results indicated that, the 24-hour PM10 concentration was between 0.05mg/m3 and 0.32mg/m3,all of the 14 samples exceeded our countrys Grade I Standard. The PM10-borned Cd and Cu in the air were 2.70-18.32ng/m3,127.78-1217.95ng/m3 respectively. The highest concentration of Cd and Cu were all on the sampling sites of YLY(Yuluyang),where had existed burning events. The results of health assessment showed that, the carcinogenic risk of contaminants in PM10 on residential land exceeded the acceptable risk, which was mostly induced by Cd.Parameter sensitivity analysis suggested that, the characteristic of contaminants, adult individual and behavior properties had the biggest impact to the carcinogenic risk.So did the childrens behavior parameters and the contaminants parameters to the no-carcinogenic risk.It suggested that these parameters should be gotten from the field as possible as we can,in order to reduce the uncertainty of the assessment results.
