Aims: To choose a vancomycin population pharmacokinetic model most suitable for Chinese pediatric patients,in order to guide the dosage adjustment.Methods: PubMed and CN KI data were searched for studies regarding vancomycin population pharmacokinetics, and basic information were extracted.The data of patients who administered vancomycin and conducted therapeutic drug monitoring were introduced into the reported final models, and the fitting effect of the models were judged by model fitting graphics.Results: 14 vancomycin population pharmacokinetic studies from 1986-2014 were included.Model fitting graphics showed that except that models 1, 4 and 8 presented a relatively better fitting effect, the fitting effects of other models were all poor.Conclusions: After fitting Chinese pediatric patients' data into reported vancomycin population pharmacokinetic models, we found that except individual models, the fitting effects of most models were all poor, therefore it's essential to establish a vancomycin population pharmacokinetic model especially for Chinese pediatric patients, in order to guide dosage adjustment more accurately.
