Brassinosteroids (BRs) are a class of plant specific steroid hormones, which interact with many other external and internal cues to regulate various developmental processes in plants. Our previous study demonstrated that ABA can inhibit BR signaling to inhibit plant growth and development.Recently we identified a GSK3-like kinase, brassinosteroid insensitive 2 (BIN2), a major negative regulator of BR signaling can interact with members of Snf1-related kinase 2s (SnRK2s),SnRK2.2 and SnRK2.3, that can interact with and be phosphorylated.
