　　According analysis of International Technology Roadmap for Photovoltaic (ITRPV) Passivated Emitter and Rear Cells (PERC) are expected to have had a share of approximately 10 % of solar cell production based on crystalline Silicon (c-Si) in 2014.For the time being, standard Back Surface Field Cells still hold the majority of cell production with a share of 80 %.In this technology roadmap, PERC are expected to have the highest growth rates within the next 10 years, resulting in a marked share of roughly 50 % of the total c-Si cell production.In this paper we present the results of the implementation and optimization of PERC into cost effective mass production.
