Introduction:Advances in laser technology have resulted in the development of lasers that can precisely remove thin layers of skin with minimal thermal damage to the surrounding tissue,particularly when used concurrently with coolant and/or topical agents.In the past,chemical agents,such as glycolic acid or phenol,were used to treat certain skin ailments.
