With multiple biological activities [1] and health benefit effects,polysaccharide in medicine and food dual purpose plants(MFDPPP)has extensive application in the field of such as medical treatment,stock farming,cosmetic industry,among others.However,up to date,the use of MFDPPP is still faced with various quality issues [2] and polysaccharide analysis posts the most difficult challenge to available analytical technologies.[3] In the current work,a rapid and high-throughput quality control method for MFDPPP was established based on the matrix assisted laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry(MALDI-MS).
