　　Wood flour (WF) used as reinforcement in thermoplastics are popular, but the poor compatibility between WF and polymer matrix and relative high moisture absorption of it limit its usage.The heat treatment is an effective and easy to operate method to improve the properties of wood.In the presented study, the WF was treated with 240 ℃ to increase the interfacial adhesion between WF and HDPE matrix and then improve the performence of wood plastic composites (WPC).
