Interval-censored failure time data often arise in clinical trials and medical follow-up studies among other fields and their analysis has recently attracted a great deal of attention in the statistical literature.However, most of the existing approaches are for situations where centring intervals are independent of the failure time of interest.In this talk, we will discuss the situation where the independence assumption may not hold and it is apparent that the relationship between the censoring variables and the failure time has to be taken into account in this case.Both nonparametric comparison and regression analysis will be discused.
