Proteomics involves the study on the proteome including not only the identification of all proteins, isoforms and modifications in any given cells, tissues or organisms, but also the interactions among individual proteins in the proteome.The linkage relationship among genome, transcriptome and proteome is one of main contents of proteomics research and first based on the completeness of proteome established, and thus is highly dependent on analytical technology.
