　　Two new halogen light sources, H18 (one filament halogen light source) and H19 (two filament halogen light source) are expected to get affiliated in ECE R37 by end of 2015.By offering higher luminous flux in combination with tight optical and mechanical tolerances, they both gives the opportunity to design halogen headlamps with better beam performance and smaller size following the design trend triggered by the introduction of LED technology.One challenge-next to providing a legal beam pattern-will be the thermal management.
