　　The interaction of Methyl nitrite (CH3ONO,MN) with palladium catalyst is an interesting topic since this is the principal chemistry of ethylene glycol synthesis from carbon monoxide [1,2].So far,only a few previous investigations concerning the adsorbed MN on palladium metal by means of theoretical calculation.
