Measurement of the spray droplet size and velocity has important effect on optimizing of agricultural spray process, improving spray deposition, and reducing spray drift.The paper summarized the measurement methods of spray droplet size and velocity currently existing at home and abroad.And Phase-Doppler Particle Dynamic Analyzer(PDA) and Particle/Droplet Image Analyzer (PDIA) which can precisely measure both droplet size and droplet velocity at the same time with respect to system configuration, measurement principle and method.PDA is more suitable for measuring fine droplets, whereas PDIA is suitable for measuring course droplets.
